The objective of LAYBL is to provide an opportunity for the youth of the city of Laconia to learn and enjoy the sport of basketball. focusing on the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, and respect for authority.

The Annual LAYBL tournament is now an official qualifier for the New England Basketball Championship in Providence, Rhode Island! The New England Basketball Championship is a qualifier-based tournament for travel/community/school teams only and features top competition from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont. The 2024 tournament players hailed from 202 zip codes and 158 different towns across the region. For more info click the picture.

Evaluations times for the 2024/2025 LAYBL season:
All evals will be taking place at the Laconia Middle School Gym
Please arrive no earlier than 15 mins before. Have your player dressed in appropriate basketball
attire. Reminder to please not wear the basketball sneakers outside before entering as it may
cause dirt and rocks to get stuck in bottom of sneakers and may damage the newly refinished gym floor.
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 2ND:
1ST/2ND GRADE COED: 9:00AM TO 10:30AM SATURDAY NOVEMBER 2ND
3RD/4TH GRADE COED: 11:00AM TO 12:30PM SATURDAY NOVEMBER 2ND

Teams will be drafted and divided up after each evaluation. Coaches will reach out when they have their lists and contact information.
